Ladies and Gentlemen,
we are delighted to announce the 2021 Combat Medical Care (CMC) Conference, taking place on 29. and 30. June 2021 at the Edwin-Scharff-Haus in Neu-Ulm. The German Society for Military Medicine and Pharmacy (GSMMP) invites you to present your company, products and services at the fourth CMC Conference.
The CMC Conference is a biannual event and has grown over the last three events to be the largest gathering on the topic of “tactical medicine” outside the USA. In 2018, 1.400 participants from over 30 nations found their way to Ulm/Neu-Ulm, Germany, to share the latest methods and approaches for patients in combat medical care. Since then, tactical situations have moved even more into the focus as a challenge for Emergency Medical Services (EMS), physicians and law enforcement. With the huge interest of military, law enforcement, civil protection and emergency management, again, more than 1.000 participants may be expected.
The motto of 2020’s conference ”Now, more than ever“ expresses the continuous need for further development in the field of tactical medicine. In a world, where challenges by terror, amok, political instability, armed conflicts, extremism and disasters have to be managed by civilian agencies, law enforcement and the military, it is absolutely necessary to exchange, train and „be prepared“ for provision of medical care in such extreme situations.
The technical leadership of the CMC Conference will again be carried out by the Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care Medicine, Military Hospital Ulm.
