Workshop Objectives:
- Promote Cutting-Edge Solutions: Highlight the capabilities of Cosinuss, MedicTool, and CoROM in improving PFC practices.
- Improve Real-Life Training: Provide hands-on experience in managing complex trauma cases in austere environments.
Key Features:
- Cosinuss: Revolutionizing patient monitoring with live transmission of vital signs(pulse, SpO2, and temperature) directly to Medic Tool.
- Medic Tool: Supporting medics with advanced documentation, treatment protocols, equipment management, and live updates to the backend.
- CoROM: Delivering world-class training and education in Prolonged Field Care.
Workshop Scenario:
Participants will be divided into four stations, each featuring a team of five. The exercise begins with a simulated trauma patient being handed over using digital TCCC cards by "tapping" a phone with the patient data onto the team's tablet. Teams will then:
- Initiate PFC treatment.
- Document actions in real-time using Medic Tool.
- Utilize Cosinuss’ live monitoring for accurate and efficient care.
The workshop setup replicates a field clinic, complete with equipment and scenarios designed to challenge participants and strengthen their PFC capabilities.
Execution Plan for the PFC Workshop at CMC 2025
To ensure participants are well-prepared and maximize the hands-on experience during the workshop, the following pre-training steps will be implemented:
Pre-Workshop Training Access (Not Mandatory)
- Medic Tool Online Training:
- Registered participants will receive access to online training modules for Medic Tool.
- The modules will cover features such as documentation, protocol support, equipment management, and real-time patient status updates.
- Cosinuss Online Training:
- Participants will learn how to use Cosinuss devices for live vital monitoring, including pulse, SpO2, and temperature.
- CoROM PFC Introduksjon
- CoROM will provide access to an online introductory course on Prolonged Field Care.
- The course will cover the fundamentals of PFC, emphasizing principles and strategies for managing patients in prolonged, resource-limited scenarios.
- By offering these online resources ahead of the workshop, participants will enter the event with foundational knowledge, enabling them to focus on practical application and teamwork during the hands-on stations.
- This blended approach ensures the workshop is engaging, efficient, and highly beneficial for all attendees
